Use one person for a solo template, two people together for a duo, or one pet or character for its matching template. A duo uses one image containing both people.
Mouth uncovered
Keep faces and mouths clearly visible. For a duo, leave space between the two people so both can move.
Good light
Daylight or a bright room. Very dark or heavily filtered selfies lose detail in motion.
Portrait for vertical
A tall image gives a tall video for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. A wide image gives a wide video.
Room to move
An upper-body portrait gives people room for gestures. For pets and characters, keep the head and body visible and leave space around the subject.
